I'm Priince,
nice to meet you.

I am a creative who majors in design. I have experience in art directions and photography. I use these skills as my tools to creatively solve the challenges that a client may be facing. I do extensive research to develop insights that can allow me to think of solutions from multiple creative points of view.

With every creative solution I come up with, I use storytelling to deliver creative work. For every creative work I develop, I use Human-Centered Design to create and build a journey into the creative. That allows the client's brand's story, beliefs, and values to be expressed in a creative visually appealing manner to their audience. Storytelling is a daily driver for individuals and organizations and my goal is to use these stories to inspire the daily lives of the clients and their audience.

How I got started in UX/UI

I found myself on YouTube watching a blogger, Casey Neistat. He lived his life in a way that was fulfilling and full of creative and uncommon ways of doing the normal day-to-day. Like, he used to create a vlog every day, whether he felt like it or not. I learned from him that sometimes to do the things you love and build the kind of life you desire requires discipline every single day.

With that interest, Graphic Design, and Art Direction, I went into research and that is where I discovered people who are doing great like Chris Do from The Futur Academy. After finding out of such people, unfortunately,  that they are located overseas and I needed to find a place where I would learn and network as well as grow my creative knowledge.

A friend of mine I use to skate with, Pontsho Sekiti shared a link to an academy where they taught design. That link led me to Umuzi, where I studied and developed my skills in the creative field. I learned about Human Centre Design, I networked with the multimedia folks, and that's how my interest in photography and directing was also developed.

With that being said, that's how my journey began in UX/UI. Where I learned that it's okay to have an interest in multiple formats of creativity. After all, photography, design, animation, cinematographer, illustrations, and all others are just the execution. The key is knowing which one will work best to translate the message in your creative.

What I've been working on

I have been on enhancing my Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator skills and I have been working on my personal branding and website. You've probably seen how that is going.

I have been collaborating with a few of my friends and been directing shoots and helping out with editing. The last essential thing I have been working on has been me. Since COVID19 hit. A lot had to change and I am learning more about myself and developing more of my strengths and working on my weaknesses.

What I'm curious about

The world and how it interacts with humans. I am very curious about spirituality and how that informs our reality or the other way around. I am a big fan of sports, Formula 1, Basketball, baseball, and rugby.

I am very curious and have much interest in how my favorite movies, series', posters, and animations tell the story they do. I'm curious about how they swallow my entire attention and my emotions. I desire to do learn and do the same with my work. They literally can take me to a different world. I desire to do that with my work and seeing that it's possible, helps fuel
my passion.

Most of my curiosities stem from wanting to know how something functions and what makes it function the way it does and why not like the other things that may be similar to it. Like a fast car in comparison with a slower car.
